Shirdi Chavadi

The place where Sai Baba slept on alternate nights during his later years.

Shirdi Chavadi

The Palki Tradition

Chavadi originally served as a village office. During Baba's time, every alternate night, he would be taken from Dwarkamai to Chavadi in a grand procession with a Palki (palanquin), music, and lights.

Thursday Special: Even today, the Palki procession on Thursday nights is a major event that pilgrims should not miss.
